RDP usage has grown by a huge amount and I hope you are up to the task of meeting our evolving needs. I hope someone from Microsoft replies and takes this request seriously. It could be a toggle setting if that is necessary. I think Microsoft should provide an option for Relative Mouse support for RDP. I use Kavoom to control a second account running on a second machine, giving me seamless use of a single mouse and keyboard between two computers. (Spinning erratically while looking directly up.) This can easily be duplicated by testing with RDC. People have suggested using 3rd party apps such as Terecredi and Parsec. Description Remotely controlling the Minecraft client results in erratic mouse movement. 90 of the time it sits on my desk and monitor, speakers, mouse etc. I also have 3D viz software with the same issue.Īlso, I have dedicated machines to do production, but when doing a presentation in the conference room, I need to use RDP to connect to the more powerful machine.Īlso, now working from home because of Covid-19, I really need a solution. To make sure the command is configured correctly, you can first run sudo. It moves so very fast in many directions. When entering the walk-through mode, the viewpoint is not controllable. My Architectural Cad software uses relative mouse movement to navigate around the model. However, when I am using the Remote Desktop application across both monitors, the mouse cursor will jump back to the boundary when moved from one screen to another. The game cannot be played using only a mouse. The problem I faced: I have two monitors connected to my PC and normally when I move the mouse from one to the other it seamlessly moves across the boundary. This lags the game significantly, so Id recommend using a lower poll rate on Minecraft. No, it's not for first person shooter games. Java and Bedrock editions for Windows uses the standard control scheme of mouse and keyboard controls as input. Minecraft causes an update to the currently displayed menu/game every time it detects the cursor updated, so if you use a high poll rate mouse, it causes a lot of updates, each time forcing a function to be run. I'm in real need of relative mouse movement support over RDP.
